  • If you are packing yourself, acquire packing materials/boxes and pack items you won't need for the next month.
  • If professional mover is packing your goods, schedule packing day(s) 1 or 2 days before move.
  • Prepare any mowers, snow blowers, boats, snowmobiles (or other vehicles you won't be using before the move) for the move by servicing and draining gas and oil, to prevent a moving van fire.
  • Repair, send out for re-upholstery, or clean furniture, drapes, carpeting as needed.

Working with Mark was a great experience! I was a first time home buyer and he helped make the process easy for me. He showed me as many homes as I needed until I found the right one, answering all of my questions throughout the process. He was not only very knowledgeable but also very personable! I would highly recommend Mark and his team to anyone!

We had a terrific experience with Mark and Mark in selling our home in Chesterland (they were also our agents five years earlier in buying our house). They were honest, professional, and very knowledgeable about the local market and our entire process. They gave good advice to us about what projects needed to be done in order to sell our home and followed up with great recommendations of professionals we might use

~ Brendan and Heathey Daly

Mark and Mark were extremely accomodating to my busy schedule, and worked on very short notice for me. They never complained and always worked around my schedule, not theirs. I truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication they have to finding exactly what their clients' want and going to bat for them. Both Mark's were knowledgeable, professional, and straight shooters, that went beyond the call. I would recommend them to anyone.

~ Rick Mahon -- Cleveland Clinic

I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking to purchase a home. He was very professional, helpful, and friendly. I was a first time home buyer and he made the overwhelming process of purchasing my first home stress free. He was very informative and was patient with me and my concerns. Mark is a excellent real estate agent! I'm very happy with his service to me and the house I purchased!

~ Andrea

My wife and I used Mark & Mark to buy and sell our homes. Both Mark's were knowledgable, professional, kind, and were very easy and accomidating to work with. Both were straight forward and had a high degree of integrity. I would highly recommend Mark & Mark to anyone who is looking for a team of professionals that go above and beyond the call of duty to meet and exceed their customers expectations.

“The Baughman/Schecter team is simply amazing. They were very professional and easy to work with in assisting with the short-sales of my estate properties. I felt very comfortable leaving all the details to them.”

~ Amy Papesh, Elk & Elk

“Mark Baughman recently represented us in the purchase of our new home. We enjoyed working with Mark. He handled our real estate transaction with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail. He was prompt, thorough and courteous with all communications. Mark and his team completed our transaction within 21 days from our initial offer to exchanging the keys - which was 10 days faster than expected. We would recommend Mark and his team to handle your next real estate transaction.”

~ Dave & Lisa Egensperger

Our home was sold within 30 days of when it hit the market. The previous agent had it for 6 months. Near asking, always answered his phone, wouldn’t ever use another agent!
